What the heck is this?

Welcome to Peace&Politics, I am glad you are here! But what is Peace&Politics actually and who is in charge?

Peace&Politics is a blog providing analysis, reporting and discussion of political processes related to peace and democracy issues. It aims to cover such processes from around the globe although my own knowledge, socialization and location might determine the topics presented to a certain extent.

The person responsible is me, Felix Hänche. I am 25 years old, hold a bachelor’s degree in political sciences and currently work as a volunteer at the „Institute for the Study of Nationalism and Conflict“ in Georgia’s capital Tbilisi. This institute works in the context of the secessionist conflicts in the country and, frankly, my work here might induce a higher coverage of South Caucasus affairs! Moreover, being German, EUropean and progressive, at least according to my self-identification, shapes my view on the world and therefore the topics and perceptions presented in the articles.

I hope you will find food for thought, enriching perspectives and exciting topics at peace&policy. I will at least give my best so you can!
